GitHub today announced that Sharryn Napier has joined the company as Vice President (VP) of Sales for APAC, as GitHub continues to grow its business in the region.
In addition to providing the overall strategic direction for GitHub across APAC, Sharryn will be responsible for driving business growth and capturing the region’s enormous opportunity by embracing direct and indirect channels to market.

Sharryn has over 22 years of experience in the IT industry and has held executive positions at several global software companies, including New Relic, Qlik and Serena Software, where she was responsible for driving go-to-market strategy, including channel, consistently resulting in exponential growth across the region. Sharryn is currently based in Sydney, is a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and sits on the National Board of the AIIA.
