Energy Safe Victoria (ESV) launched it’s new website platform today and is the first public milestone in it’s program to transform the website and make it more accessible for industry and the broader community.
The new platform is more secure and consistent with other Victorian Government agencies and departments. It provides a better user experience for those accessing the website via mobile and tablet devices.
The web address remains the same, as does access to portals such as ESVConnect and Gastrac. These applications will be subject to improvements as the transformation program progresses.
The next phase of the roll out involves an upgrade of content to ensure consistency with accessibility standards.
ESV CEO Leanne Hughson said that as part of the transformation project, ESV consulted with a range of stakeholders, including electrical workers and gasfitters.
“The website transformation program fulfils a key commitment to industry and the community, to make regulatory and safety information clearer and more accessible,” Ms Hughson said.
“Our work isn’t over yet. We’ll continue to deliver upgrades over the next few months and, of course, we are also looking for your feedback.”
Victorians can provide feedback on each page by indicating whether the information was helpful and leaving a comment.
The new website has been built on the Victorian Government’s Single Digital Presence platform.
ESV is Victoria’s energy safety regulator responsible for the safe generation, supply and use of electricity, gas, renewable energy and pipelines.
