New Tap IP and Tap Scheduler deliver simple, efficient meeting experiences for hybrid work inside and outside the meeting room

Today, Logitech has expanded its video collaboration portfolio to include Tap IP, a networked conference room controller, and Tap Scheduler, a specially designed meeting scheduling panel for any conference space.

Created to make it easier to schedule and join video meetings when many hybrid workers return to the office, Tap IP and Tap Scheduler are fully integrated with major collaboration platforms and connected by a single Power over Ethernet (PoE) cable for clean and simple installation.

“The current touch controller market has a problem with Goldilocks: a high-end that is complex, expensive, and largely proprietary; and lower-end tablets dominated by consumer tablets that were not designed to meet corporate requirements such as remote device management, security and cable management, said Scott Wharton, general manager and vice president, Logitech Video Collaboration

“Tap IP and Tap Controller were designed from the ground up to deliver secure, enterprise-grade performance; stylish design including stylish cable retention; and compatibility with the industry’s leading service players – all at an affordable price,” said Wharton.

Meetings start with one touch using Logitech Tap IP. With a single touch controller that works seamlessly with Microsoft Teams Rooms on Android, Zoom Rooms, and more, Logitech Tap IP provides a reliable and consistent room-to-room experience. By integrating directly with the Logitech Conferencecam Camera, users can enjoy the same One-Touch Meeting feature as Logitech Tap, with lower cost and easier installation thanks to an IP-based network connection.

With clean, secure cable management and flexible mounting options, Tap IP can be easily and securely installed virtually anywhere in the meeting room. Featuring a sleek and intuitive design, Tap IP has the right presence in the room so teams can focus on collaboration.

Making it easy to find and claim the right meeting space in the office, Tap Scheduler’s large 10.1-inch touchscreen allows easy reading of meeting information, and its built-in lighting system signals room availability remotely . Designed to be placed just outside the meeting room, participants can use Tap Scheduler to quickly claim rooms for ad hoc meetings or reserve them in advance. It is compatible with Teams, Zoom Rooms, Robin and Meetio, a cloud-based meeting room management company recently acquired by Logitech.

Designed for scale deployment, Tap Scheduler is easy to install in virtually any collaboration space, with brackets included to help secure the panel to multiple surfaces and cable management for a professional, uncluttered setup.

In a move that expands Logitech’s video collaboration ecosystem into a complete hardware, software and services solution, Logitech now also offers customers a full, all-in-one service plan for Logitech video collaboration solutions. , Logitech Select.

Logitech Select is designed to help IT professionals maximize the uptime of their video solutions. Select offers 24×7 solution support, enhanced next business day RMA, and exclusive Insights and Alerts in Logitech Sync, Logitech’s video conferencing device management platform. Customers with 50 or more numbers served by Select also benefit from spare parts and a dedicated account manager.

Price and availability.

The Logitech Tap IP and Tap Scheduler are available in Australia and New Zealand from the end of October 2021. The Logitech Tap Schedule will sell for AU$1,269.95/NZ$1,380.90 in graphite and white designs. MSRP for Logitech Tap IP is AU$1,250.95 / NZ$1,355.90 in graphite and white versions.

Tap IP will be compatible with Microsoft Teams Rooms on Android, Zoom Rooms, PC-based Zoom Rooms and RingCentral Rooms. Tap Scheduler can be set as Teams Panel, Zoom Rooms Scheduling Display, Robin-based Scheduling Panel, or with Meetio. Compatibility with additional partners will be available for both devices upon launch. To learn more about the latest Logitech video collaboration solutions, visit the Logitech website.
