The world’s only open security management platform designed specifically for Service Providers to deliver enterprise-grade security to businesses of all size (including SMB’s) is now available on Amazon Web Services (AWS) cloud hosting in Sydney.
The CyberCisionTM platform enables service providers to increase revenue by fast provisioning cutting-edge cybersecurity services to their business customer base at a reduced cost.
It was developed by ASX-listed global cybersecurity group FirstWave Cloud Technology Limited (ASX:FCT). FirstWave has put signifcant emphasis on it’s industry leading email security and web protection functionality within the CyberCisionTM platform, including the recent enhancements to offer frictionless and automated onboarding of email security for Microsoft 365 users.
The launch of CyberCisionTM on AWS significantly enhances the functionality and ease of adoption of CyberCisionTM for FirstWave’s partners, which include some of the world’s largest telecommunications carriers and managed services providers.
FirstWave Chief Executive Officer Danny Maher said CyberCisionTM on AWS allows service providers to deliver best-in-class cybersecurity technologies to their clients while rapidly growing their cybersecurity revenues at scale.
“We know that SMBs are the most vulnerable segment of the market, and it is a paritcular focus that Serivce Providers can deliver these enterprise-grade technoglies at scale to that segement, as well as to enterprise clients themselves,” he said. “It is a huge opportunity.”
“Our Australian partners can now build a package of cybersecurity services tailored to meet their customers’ requirements and deliver these ‘as-a-Service’ within the flexibility and scalability of AWS.”
FirstWave recently commissioned a report from Frost and Sullivan which found comprehensive cyber protection for SMBs had emerged as the next great revenue driver for IT service providers, with 60% of SMBs looking to outsource cybersecurity to a third party.
The report showed SMBs were in “urgent” need of comprehensive cyber protection and were increasingly relying on managed service providers to deliver threat remediation.
“Security, though a priority, often slips through the cracks, making it difficult to intentionally and continuously establish a security-forward organisational stance from their IT service providers,” the report said.
“With CyberCision™, service providers can build as-a-service cybersecurity packages of enterprise-grade, including a range of management and operational services such as multi-tenanting, billing, and provisioning that enable them to streamline the sales and delivery process at a minimal cost.”
CyberCisionTM includes new and unique features such as enhanced integration and automation, mobile reporting, and advanced detection and response (ADR) capabilities to protect SMBs from the latest targeted threats.
