Rimini Street, Inc. a global provider of enterprise software products and services, a leading third-party software support provider for Oracle and SAP and a Salesforce partner, has appointed Eric Helmer Chief Technology Officer (CTO) and has announced the creation of the Chief Technology Officer Office (OCTO).

As CTO of Rimini Street, Helmer is responsible for helping prospects and clients develop and implement innovative solutions and roadmaps to achieve strategic IT, operational and financial goals across a variety of business applications and technology products from private vendors such as Oracle. , SAP. , Salesforce and Microsoft and open source products such as MySQL, MariaDB, PostgreSQL and MongoDB database platforms. The CTO has been a proven technology veteran for 25 years Mr. Helmer is a Chief Information Technology Officer with 25 years of experience and a recognised leader in delivering strategic corporate IT transformation projects. He has a long track record of developing and delivering end-to-end business technology initiatives that provide organisations with real return on investment, competitive advantage and growth.


Prior to his appointment as CTO, Helmer led Rimini Street Strategic Services Group, where he was responsible for developing and implementing end-to-end customer solutions including advanced security, professional services, licensing consulting, technical drawings, cloud services and migration services.


Prior to joining Rimini Street, Helmer was Vice President of Velocity Technology Solutions, where he led the team providing transformational IT and cloud solutions for Oracle. Additionally, he has extensive consulting experience with companies such as Linium, ADI Strategies and The Hackett Group, where he has implemented many successful corporate projects in the United States, Europe, the Middle East, Africa and Asia Pacific.


Mr. Helmer is a published author, Oracle ACE alumnus and award-winning lecture and highly sought-after industry speaker. He has also served on many industry advisory committees, including the Oracle Developer Tools User Group (ODTUG). He holds an MBA and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science.

Current Enterprise Software as a Platform for Continuous Business Optimisation
