Nexion has signed on with Cash Converters to update its branch office and bolster cybersecurity technology across all its corporate stores.
Cash Converters plans to upgrade 80 of its stores with Fortinet equipment and a management console in order to boost cyber safety.
Nexion will provide the hardware and software while also managing the servers for seven years. Fortinet edge devices, switches, wireless access points, and a 7-year Unified Threat Protection layer will be installed.
Cash Converters and Nexion recently finished a Proof of Technology test to ensure the solution was suitable and to enable the Cash Converters team to remotely deploy and manage it.
According to Nexion, investing in secure fabric solutions was a critical step, given the current cybersecurity risk profile. Nexion says that the devices now support zero-touch provisioning.
Nexion says “The contract illustrates its ability to support large-scale, complex technology solutions across Australia for a long time.”
Fortinet and Cash Converters, an ASX-listed company, were pleased to partner with the company to deliver this national solution.
Cash Converters operates in Australia, the United Kingdom, France, Belgium, the United States, Canada, and Spain as well.
Cash Converters Chief Executive Officer, Kevin Read, is pleased to be able to assist Nexion Networks in creating better security outcomes in the long term.
According to Greer, the solution and business case were worked on with Cash Converters and Fortinet over several months to ensure they were suitable.
“The solution was also crucial to ensuring that the Cash Converters team was confident to take ownership of it, which was a credit to the people involved and the simplicity of the Fortinet solution” he says.
Nexion currently provides global network, compute, security, and data storage as-a-service, which it combines with Public Cloud services to create Nexion’s hybrid cloud solution, Nexion OneCloud.
Across the globe, the company provides Technology as a Service via its enterprise ICT managed services division.
In recent years, Nexion has expanded its presence in Australia and abroad, with acquisitions and new openings happening in several locations on Australia’s East Coast and in Canada.
The company is situated in Perth, Australia, with offices in Singapore, Auckland and the UK.
