Blue Connections IT, a gold and platinum partner for the world’s largest technology vendors, has appointed Paul Wilson to the role of chief technology officer (CTO) as part of the business’s strategic growth roadmap.
Paul joined Blue Connections IT in 2014 as a solution architect before moving into a management role in the organisation’s network and security division.
As CTO Paul is responsible for the growth of Blue Connections IT’s four key technical divisions and ensuring that the business continues to deliver niche and specialised IT solutions to its growing client base.
Blue Connections IT has experienced significant growth over the past few years, expanding from a staff complement of 40 to more than 200 Australian-based employees.
The organisation has also moved from supplying hardware and working with multiple vendors to establishing four specialised technical divisions: networking, security, and communications; cloud solutions powered by Microsoft; infrastructure, virtualisation, and availability; and end-user devices.
