In a first for the ANZ region, Microsoft has celebrated local partners with a new award programme aligning back to the global Partner of the Year programme. Rapid Circle, Arinco, Velrada, Volpara, Five P and Data#3 have taken out the hotly contested local partner titles.

Local ANZ Partner Award Winners. By category:

  • ANZ Partner for purpose: Rapid Circle
  • ANZ Business Applications and industry: Velrada
  • ANZ Azure: Arinco
  • ANZ Modern Work and Security: FiveP and Data#3
  • ANZ SaaS: Volpara

The ANZ Partner Awards acknowledge partners in a broad range of categories, including awards for Partner for Purpose, ANZ Business Applications and Industry, Azure, SaaS and Modern Work & Security.

ANZ Chief Partner Officer and Managing Director Microsoft New Zealand, Vanessa Sorenson said, “All of our partners do exceptional work, so it is great to be able to recognise more of them than just the Global Winners and Country Partner of Year winners this year,”

“Our partners are the creative engine of the tech industry and we’re constantly impressed by the impact their work is having on people, communities and organisations,” said Sorenson

“The value these companies bring extends beyond sales and solutions, making work and lives easier, changing the way people and organisations see and do things,”

Each partner brings a unique perspective that taken together, makes our whole ecosystem vibrant and exciting.” she said

Rapid Circle emerged as stand-out winner of the ANZ Partner for Purpose award, making a profound impact on the lives of countless Australians in the previous year.

Collaborating with Youth, Family, and Indigenous Services Provider, Campbell Page, they developed an innovative platform that empowered numerous young mothers to enhance their employment opportunities and pursue higher education.

Via cloud infrastructure they are delivering for the North East Link, they are also significantly reducing travel time and providing 10,000 jobs for the community.

Velrada, the recipient of the prestigious ANZ Business Applications and Industry award, has had an incredibly successful FY23. Throughout the year, they made significant strides in expanding their business on a global scale, venturing into new industries, and providing outstanding solutions to their clients.

Among their impressive achievements, the judges highlighted Velrada’s groundbreaking ‘Next Generation Telehealth’ solution, which effectively utilises Dynamics 365 Remote Assist and Azure technologies to enable remote patient assessments by specialists.

The innovative telehealth solution has proven to be a game-changer, saving patients an estimated 2 million kilometers of travel per year. By eliminating the need for unnecessary travel, the associated costs have been drastically reduced, and, more importantly, patients can now receive medical attention much sooner, leading to improved health outcomes.

Additionally, Velrada’s remarkable achievements in the industry have truly set them apart as a trailblazer, delivering exceptional value to their customers and making a significant positive impact on healthcare and beyond.

Arinco

Arinco was recognised with the title of ANZ Azure partner for its industry leading solution, Azure Done Right, that is setting customers up with the strong foundations that are crucial in enabling resilient future-ready businesses across the ANZ region.

The companies entry outlined an impressive portfolio of work, including digitally transforming Maitland City Council, The Royal Children’s Hospital and Home Rural Health alliance. The company is also on track to reach 65 million in Azure Cloud Registrations this financial year.

FiveP and Data#3,

FiveP and Data#3, who were also recognised as winners in the global awards, shared the ANZ Modern Work and Security win, while the overall New Zealand Partner of The Year, Volpara, also took out the local ANZ SaaS category for the way it’s diversified into new fields, such as identifying cardiovascular issues in patients.

Sorenson said, “It’s been two years now since we came together as an ANZ region, and these winners demonstrate the breadth and depth of the talent and solutions we create across our amazing partner network here in Australasia,”

“We’re excited to think of what opportunities the next 12 months will hold,” adds Sorenson.
