Barker will play a crucial part in shaping Telstra Purple’s security sales strategy. He will work closely with Telstra’s enterprise, government, and business clients to fortify their cybersecurity defenses against the ever-evolving landscape of cyber threats.
Barket joins the Telstra team from BT, where he spent almost a decade in a variety of key security-focused roles, including leading BT Security across Asia Pacific and Japan, and Middle East and Africa, and previously the Australia and New Zealand region. Before BT he held several security sales roles at Fortinet and IBM.
Before that, he had held various roles in security sales with Fortinet and IBM, further solidifying his expertise in the cybersecurity domain.
