CMD takes out two of three categories
AWS Consulting Partner CMD Solutions has taken out top spot in two categories at the AWS Partners of the Year Awards 2022, named as both Services Partner of the Year Australia and Migration Partner of the Year at yesterday’s Summit.
Each year, AWS honours its AWS Partner Network (APN) who are leaders in the channel and play key roles in helping customers drive innovation and build solutions on Amazon Web Services (AWS).
This is the second time in three years that CMD has been named Partner of the Year. Since its 2020 win, CMD Solutions has gone on to become number one in Australia and New Zealand for the number of competencies attained by a locally owned business, ensuring that a high quality team of specialist and experienced consultants deliver fit-for-purpose solutions to help businesses be more efficient, profitable and secure.

CMD’s cloud migration solution – branded MoveCMD – has helped a long list of customers migrate their environments faster and at scale, whether in hybrid or complete cloud native migration. Having a specialist security service also ensures that CMD accounts for all client needs in the migration process, in particular for clients in regulated industries.
Large scale data migrations and appliance re-platforming are particular areas of CMD expertise, automating these processes through native AWS services. Both off-the-shelf accelerators and custom solutions have allowed CMD to work with enterprise businesses and corporations alike. CMD also works closely with sister companies Eliiza and Cuusoo in offering AWS machine learning, artificial intelligence and Data Science solutions, or pairing AWS cloud services with Databricks’ data platform.
