Is bloglovin down? If you’ve noticed that your Bloglovin’ subscription is not working, you’re not alone

Bloglovin‘ is a tool for keeping up with blogs — a way to manage feeds. Lots of bloggers turned to it after the demise of Google Reader. When you create an account there, you can follow any blogger on any platform

Today, reports and questions in regards to Bloglovin.com indicate issues with the blogging platform.

Blog posts and other published articles on the website are currently being greeted with the following error message

Sorry, this page isn’t available. The link you followed may be broken, or the page may have been removed.

After a breif investigation and testing via a VPN connection from all four corners of the globe, developers at Tech Business News confirmed the websites onboarding system would process new user account creation however, new users were unable to browse or use the websites facilities including access to feeds.

While conducting an investigation into the down time of the website the possibility of an issue with Bloglovin’s CDN provider Cloudflare arose as potential source of the issue.

A basic ping to www.bloglovin.com indicated a response from Cloudflare’s DNS was okay however, this can’t rule out other possible internal issues or configuration problems.

Microsoft CMD prompt – ping response from bloglovin.com

Tech Business News has been a long term user of Bloglovin and never seen an internal issue on the platform last for as long as this period of time.

Thousands of articles submitted by users currently displayed in Google’s search engine index are also failing to load.

The platforms own blog page found at https://www.bloglovin.com/blog was also displaying the error message however, support pages are still functioning okay

A support ticket to Bloglovin has just arrived and confirmed they have an internal issue but haven’t stated the root cause

The issue has now been observed for a 1.2 hour period.
